The Alternative Gallery is proud to announce its partnership with the Americus Hotel to form a new gallery space called The Golden Era Gallery!

Located on the mezzanine outlooking the grand lobby of the historic Americus Hotel, this will bring more exhibition space and opportunity for local and visiting artists.

The Golden Era Gallery reflects the time when the Americus was built, 1927 to be exact, which was a golden age for the City of Allentown. Together, the Alternative Gallery and the Americus Hotel will work to bring more art, music, live performances and cultural events to Downtown Allentown to hopefully help usher in a new Golden Era.

Our Grand Opening celebration takes place on Wednesday March 29th 6-9 PM, and will feature a group exhibition from local artists.
